Really, really good . . . E. Binns (San Diego, CA) 2/24/2013 8:41 PM I am totally impressed with this antenna. I am away from home a lot and was tired of paying cable costs for a lot of channels I didn't need or want. Although I only get a handful of channels the reception is great and the price even better. I get the three major networks NBC, CBS, and ABC plus some independent stations.

does the job L.X. (LA) 10/9/2012 5:43 PM I have one Artec antenna Artec HDTV Flat Antenna that I use along with a 32" TCL LCD TV in my garage where I can peacefully enjoy Sunday's NFL games. After cancelling my cable service, I needed one more indoor antenna for my TV in the sitting room. After some searching and browsing on amazon.com, I finally picked this one for two major reasons: 1. This one ships from amazon.com, which means no hassle returning it in case it doesn't meet my expectation. 2. It's an amplifed antenna that has to be plugged into the wall, theoretically it should boost up reception and pick up more channels in better clarity than the Artec one, for which I had paid around $15. Receiving the antenna took no time with my prime membership, setting up the antenna was fairly straightforward and took me no more than 5 minute, but do pay attention to the set-up diagram on the instuction sheet, there are two identical connectors on the amplifier, one goes to a TV, the other to the antenna, I connected them the opposite way the 1st time before reading the instruction sheet. Before I tried it, I thought I would use the Artec 1st to compare, one thing I noticed was I could not pick up ABC7, everything else such as CBS, NBC, FOX came in plus a whole bunch of channels that I will never watch. Then I switched to this new antenna, after a few minutes of scanning, it picked up 100+ digital channels, more or less the same as the other one, but this time it also picked up ABC7 in HD and a couple of other ABC channels, so I was quite pleased by the difference it made. For now, it's a keeper.
