I have evaluated a number of antennas over the years for TV reception and this one definitely has promise. At first I was a little disappointed at the amount of plastic used in the antenna's framework but nonetheless I assembled it, and tried it inside the house first.
In essence this antenna, placed inside the house, outperformed my current antenna, an 8-cage bowtie that was mounted on the roof about 20 feet up. At first I could not believe it. How was this possible? After about a week using it indoors, it was mounted outside about 6 feet above the ground, on a satellite dish-type mount. Well, I was pleasantly surprised, as it picked up at least 50 TV stations. It beat the pants off my older, larger, roof-mounted antenna.
Where was this antenna years ago when I was knocking my head against the wall to find a decent antenna? I could have saved many many trips to the roof and many hours installing/tuning different antennas that just did not fill the bill.
The only thing I can surmise is that this antenna has a superb built-in amplifier. And, the fact that is is rotatable also allows one to aim directly at the TV station of interest. These two factors in my opinion is why it performs so well for me. Now understand that my location is mid-way between two large metro areas, Philadelphia and New York City so there are plenty of channels to choose from. Others may not experience the same results.
My only concern about this antenna is how it will survive outside with the elements of snow, rain, and UV exposure. If the plastic was beefed up a bit to a decent thickness then maybe that would raise my comfort level regarding it's longevity. If it would be used indoors, such as in an attic, than that concern would be eliminated. But at a price of 70 bucks I have little to complain about.
Now for the remote. The remote is a bit of a conundrum, it works sometimes, then other times not. There are two buttons on it, and you'd assume that one was for clockwise movement of the rotor, the other counterclockwise. That is not the case, at least in my experience. I am still in the process of figuring it out.
Another concern is that my rotor sometimes fails to move. In my case I found that if you press the remote button too many times in a short amount of time, the rotor will not budge. You have to actually twist the rotor slightly by hand and then it's fine. That's the main concern in my book. Hopefully others have not experienced this.
One way to work around not using the remote is to press that silver tactile-sensitive button to the right on the rotor control box. That will cause the antenna to rotate. What I do is simply turn to a TV channel of interest and touch that button until the station comes in loud and clear.
In closing, this antenna works very well for my situation, but the rotor/remote situation remains a mystery. If I can figure it out then this is the answer to my TV reception dreams.

I have a sweet HD TV in my bedroom, but I choose not to have it connected to DISH. Thus, I've only been able to get one local channel with rabbit ears, sometimes a second local channel. I plugged this snazzy antenna into the TV, didn't even bother with the digital, electrical hookup, and instantly had all four of my local channels, plus many others up the scale that I don't watch. Great product!

The antenna works great for us. My husband put it together; we attached to TV, and while antenna was still in living room we set up the channels. Amazing that we now have all the channels available to us in our remote area; and the antenna hasn't even been setup outside. Well now we have it on top of a pole about 20 feet in air and we get great reception and all the channels. When one channel is not coming in well, we just aim the remote at box, antenna turns and the channel comes back in. I would recommend this antenna for those living out in the country.

No need to contact seller, the item arrived on time. I do believe though the antenna should be a little more carefully packaged. The parts are quite fragile as antenna parts usually are. Some of the relector and dipole parts were slightly crimped, but doesn't seem to affect signal. The antenna does what they claim it will do. It's connected to TV, but still in our living room and it works.

I got this within 2 days after I made my order. I was a little surprised
it got here so fast. This was pretty simple to use. I didn't have the
same problem that the other review had with the power. I just plugged
my ac plug into the wall and the coax into my new hd tv. I have been
using cable and never used an antenna before so I had some problems
getting set up. I didn't pick up any stations at first so I called
them and they walked me through the process. Apparently I have to turn
my cable setting in my tv menu to off and then scan for antenna
channels. Once I did that I got 63 channels! I am so happy I can say
goodbye to my cable company. I didn't need to use my remote much since
they told me I just need to point it to the northwest. I just keep it
there since I am getting all my stations crystal clear. woohoo!

It took about 9 days to be shipped. I opened up the box and thought that it looked pretty small. However, when I set up the unit and did the scan on the TV box, it picked up a lot more channels than what I had. I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.

The unit pulled in twice the stations I used to pull in on my Radio
Shack amplified unit. The remote control did not work well but I did
not really use it. Great product

Not too long ago when I was forced with the decision of having to cut some costs due to the cost of living in Irvine being what it is, I had to decide on keeping internet service or cable tv, since both were about the same price, and I couldn't justify both.
I opted to keep internet as there were only a handful of TV channels I watch anyways. However, after my decision, I was stuck with trying to figure out how to best acquire my evening news. I don't have time to read the paper in the morning, and I don't trust yahoo news. So I ordered the Antenna Pros AX-929 after doing some research at the big box stores and even Costco.
The AX-929 was relatively inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting an antenna built to perform for a television network. However, upon receiving it, I wasn't disappointed. I felt that the over all construction for the price was a reasonable value.
One of my concerns when buying things is "how long will it take?". I was impressed here, as I received my order in a timely manner. There were not constant phone calls or e-mails that I needed to send in order to get my item. It was quick and painless.
So now, after roughly an $80 investment, I have the ability to watch the late night news and Family Guy without having to pay $40 a month for digital cable.

After ditching my expensive cable service this week, I installed this indoor antenna in its place and I have no regrets. Both VHF and UHF stations come in crystal clear. What I like the most about this indoor antenna is that once I found the "sweet spot" for all the channels, I rarely need to stand up and readjust it for a different channel.

I'm not a tech savvy individual but this was really simple to use. I love how I can easily use a remote to rotate it up within 360 degrees. I ordered this and received it really fast w/amazon's free shipping! I had just cancelled my timewarner plan, trying to cut costs. and buying this works great. i can view hdtv with this on my new tv and for a good price too. much better than paying monthly! you do have to assemble and install it yourself, but for the price, you can't expect much more. plus it wasn't too difficult to install and i haven't had any problems with it so far.

I have tried several different antennas and none of them have really worked for me.. I live in a high wind location(desert) and often have little to no signal. But, a friend of mine mentioned that I should give this one a try because it is strong and relatively easy to use. I ordered the unit and it was shipped and I received it in a few days. Initially it looked like it would be difficult to set up, but once you follow the easy directions you will realize it's actually much easier than it seems. I absolutely recommend this antenna, it is worth every bit of your money!

I'm out in San Marcos and was having trouble getting my locals with
other antennas. I thought I would try the ax-969 since it was new and
claimed to be great for long range. I am happy to report that it does
work well here and I am able to get a lot of the local high VHF
channels which I was not able to before.

Just as advertised! One powerful unit. I have tried three different Indoor antennas now, all claiming to be the best. The AX912 truly is. I have two units, one attached to my den TV and one unit attached to both my PC and basement TV. I have an RCA flat indoor antenna which is okay, however not as powerful as the AX912 Antenna Pro. I'm going to order another AX912 this week.

I was skeptical at first. this antenna looked nothing like I've used before! And the capacity it was claimed to perform at seemed awfully optimistic! But when I set it all up according to the instructions, I was floored at how well it DID perform! More channels than I have EVER received!! Even a station in the total opposite direction of all the others!! I AM SO PLEASED! THANKS!

I have tried many different antennas and have finally found on the works. I live in a rural area and once the programming went all digital, I lost most of my channels. With most antennas, I would get two or three channels, but not my favorite, the local PBS channel. With this antenna, I have more channels than I could imagine. I can get all four major networks, and two different PBS stations.

Although the Package did not come when expected, I was not upset because of the season and the possibility of a delay in delivery. It was only 3 days late. I love the Antenna and I am very pleased with the reception.

Construction does not impress me and I would be hesitant to install it outdoors. Reception has definitely improved and my attic shelters it from the elements so I'm pleased. My only issue: I had to purchase one screw from my local hardware store to replace a faulty one they provided.

This item works great. I live in a rural Ohio community and I have a very difficult time getting TV reception. This antenna delivered. I scanned in 32 different channels. I highly recommend this antenna.

I rc'vd the antenna 2 days earlier then expected. I have been with out TV for a whole year since I cancelled my dishnetwork due to high prices. I ordered this antenna and I am now enjoying 18 free channels. Works better then expected for my area. I was paying $5March month with dish, now I payed $70 one time to buy the antenna. VERY PLEASED!!!

our home is in forested rural area 40 miles from Oregon city. This is the 4th antenna I have purchased and tried. With last antenna I was able to recieve 3 digital stations and 1 annilog. with the antenna I ordered and recieved I recieved 11 digital stations!! The reception picture is as good as Direct TV ... very good/ Bob

I have tried out many different types of indoor antennas. For the past 5 years I settled on an indoor HDTV RCA amplified UHF/VHF antenna, my champion... it has now been defeated, amazingly.
The AX-929 receives all the channels my previous antenna i got, (which was expected), as well as a few more I didn't know existed. I switched back to my old antenna to see if I could get those unknown channels, but could not. (I even looked up the channels to get the broadcast station's location so that my directional it could hone in on the signal. Fail!) The AX-929 performs very well, and has no amplifier. (saves energy)
I was very pleased with my old Antenna, but since it was a directional antenna, (I was getting tired of making adjustments here and there for particular channels), I decided to try the AX-929 out after reading all the great reviews on it. Now I get more channels, and have not had to get up once to make an adjustment.

I am more than happy with the antenna. I did quite a bit of researching and reading reviews before making this purchase. I think it's vital to know where the reviewer lives because this will make all the difference. I will be honest, I did not expect much with this antenna. The price was fairly low, but once I tuned into my digital station in my area, the only time it doesn't come in crystal clear high def with 5.1 audio seems to be when a plane is flying over my house. I absolutely recommend buying this if you are looking to get digital signals.

Even in a awfully shameful TV transmition here in Saquarema City, part of International Surf Challenge, 110 Km far from Rio City I got three digital channels; I reckon there is two more. Your gear is very good, I`m really satisfied. One day I was in a City store looking for antennas, the seller put it that transmition here were bad because someone wanna do with us what Fidel do with Cuba blocking USA tv broadcast and joking said that their antennas were good for nothing so I met you in a web, thanks a lot. I recently purchased a parabolic HDTV antenna with 125 mile range from them. It got great reception, but I couldn't pull in a specific channel from a group of booster towers, so contacted the station engineer for advice. He was quite impressed with the specs I gave him. I pick up some channels beyond the 125 mile range. It arrived tbe 3rd day after order and included a sheet with their own additional instructions and a site to assist with directional aiming for specific stations.

I was totally taken by surprise after getting all the digital channels on my tv. Best picture. Better than satellite. Lots of extras didn't count on such as sleep mode CC mode and other neat features that came with remote. I recommend this to anyone.

When I opened the box and started reading the directions I was like UH OH, I will never get this together without 12 engineers and a brain surgeon. It looked very complicated but once I started to actually assemble it it when together very easily in a few minutes. I live in the mountains in a rural area and have difficulty with reception. I stuck it on the roof just a few feet up and it picked up a bunch of channels without even aiming or raising it higher. The only problem with this antenna is the rotor. You can not tell which way it is turning without actually looking at it while turning it. There is no set direction it turns, push it it turns one way, push it again it turns the other sometimes. It is random which direction it rotates regardless of the button pushed so you must be able to see the antenna while trying to adjust the direction. Overall very good reception/power but rotor sucks.

Very quick processing and shipping. It arrived a couple days after I placed my order. I was also surprised at how well this little antenna worked, and how clear the pictures came out. Definitely HD. Looks great on my 42" flat screen. I'll surely buy more around Christmastime.
